Where do I get the best rates for my room booking?

You will always get the best rates directly on our hotel website. Our website gives you the choice to book your room online or to request a non-binding offer via email.

I have a special question regarding my booking, who can I contact?

Please get in touch with our reservations team through our contact form, so that we can answer your question as quickly as possible. We are very happy to help! 

I would like to cancel my booking, how do I proceed?

Please inform us about your cancellation in writing through our contact form. We can only accept cancellations in writing and your message should also state your booking number! 

Our cancellation terms are according to the Austrian Hotel Regulations (Österreichisches Hotelreglement) and are as follows:

How can I change my booking/reservation?

Please contact your reservations team through our contact form, so that we can take care of your requested change as quickly as possible. We know that we will have the right solution for you!


At what time can I check in?

On the day of your arrival we guarantee a check-in at 3pm. We are always aiming to enable a check-in before 3pm and in many cases the check-in is possible earlier.

Where can I park my car?

We provide a parking space for every guest directly on the hotel site. 

Can I check in late at night?

Our reception is staffed until 10pm. If you would like to check in after 10pm, please tell us in advance so that we can arrange a smooth check-in for you. Thank you in advance! 

What is the nearest airport to the hotel?

The Airport Klagenfurt can be reached in a 25-minute car journey from the hotel.

Which train station is the nearest to the hotel?

The train station “Kühnsdorf” can be reached in 10-minute car journey from the hotel. However, an arrival by train usually uses the main station “Hauptbahnhof Klagenfurt” as a primary destination. Find out more details on the Austrian Railway website:

When do I need to check-out?

We kindly ask you to vacate your room until 11am on the day of your departure. 

If you would like to spend the entire day of your departure at our hotel, please contact the reception (internal telephone number 5) or get in touch with us through our contact form to enquiry about and book a late check-out. 

What is the best way to get from the hotel to the airport?

Which bank cards does the hotel accept?

We accept Visa, Diners, MasterCard and Maestro bank cards for payments. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payments from American Express cards.


What does the half board arrangement include?

Our half board arrangement includes:
A generous breakfast / brunch buffet from 8am to 1pm
A dinner menu / buffet from 6.30pm to 8pm

When can I have my breakfast?

Our breakfast buffet opens at 7:30 am every day. It is converted into a brunch buffet at around 11am and will be open until 1pm.

Is the breakfast included in the room rate?

Yes, the breakfast / brunch is included in every booking.

When can I have my lunch?

Our breakfast buffet converts into a brunch buffet at around 11am and offers salads, soups and a dish of the day. The brunch buffet will be open until 1pm. After that, we still offer our à la carte menu.

When does dinner start/finish?

Dinner starts at 6.30pm (the children’s buffet starts already at 6pm). We kindly ask you to come to dinner before 8pm. In case you will not make it on time, please let us know beforehand.

When do I have to pay for my drinks in the restaurant?

Whenever you order anything in our restaurant, hotel bar or beach café, you can conveniently choose to add the order to your room bill. The room bill is usually paid at check-out at the reception. You will find the receipts of your additional consumptions at the reception on a daily basis. Please check your receipts, as we cannot accept any reclamations more than a day after the consumption. 

Which table is reserved for me in the restaurant?

Our restaurant manager will show you your table in the first evening of your stay in our hotel at the lake Klopein. This table will be reserved for you during breakfast and dinner. During lunch, please feel free to choose any table.

I have a certain food allergy, can I get suitable dishes?

Of course. Please inform us about your food allergy on time, so that we can offer you a suitable menu.

Can I also get vegetarian, pescetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free dishes?

Yes. In our hotel's evening menus, you can choose from at least one vegetarian main dish daily. If you have any food intolerances, please inform us in advance so that we can provide you with a suitable menu option.

What dishes will my children get?

We prepare a tasty children’s buffet with soup, main course and dessert for our smaller guests every evening. The children’s buffet already opens at 6pm.


Will I need to bring along my own towel?

No. We provide bath and beach towels for all our guests. Please collect your fresh beach towels at the reception. You can also return used beach towels at the reception anytime. 

Can I reserve my sunbed on the beach?

No, that will not be necessary. We have more than enough sun beds all over our private beach area and on the piers.

Do I need to pay to use a pedal boat, stand-up paddle boards, etc.?

No. All of our pedal boats, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and rowing boats can be used by our guests free of charge. Please just make sure to tie them to the pier again afterwards. Thanks you!

What does the beach bar ‘Seeclub” offer?

During the day we serve coffees, drinks as well as cakes, sundaes and snacks. In the evening, we serve a great selection of cocktails and drinks. Occasionally, we also host live music events and other performance in our beach bar.


Will my room have an air conditioning?

If your room is located in the “SeenSucht” building, it will be equipped with an air conditioning in the ceiling. 
If your room is a Junior Suite or Family Suite located in the “West-End” building,  "Haupthaus" building or "Stammhaus" building, it will have a fan air conditioning system. 

Also our familiy appartmens "Ahornbaum" and "swimmingpool" are equipped with a fan air conditioning system.

All other rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.

‘Haupthaus’ building: room types ‘Carmen’, ‘Tosca’ and ‘Aida’

‘Stammhaus’ building: room types ‘Daphne’, ‘Rigoletto’, ‘Rondine’ and ‘Single room’

Is there free Wi-Fi in the hotel?

You can use our free Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel premises (including the beach).

Do you offer room service?

Yes. Please simply get in touch with our reception (internal telephone number 5) in order to receive all information regarding your personal room service. 

Which cardio and strength machines does the gym provide?

Our gym provides the following cardio and strength machines from Technogym® and LifeFitness: 

Cardio machines:

  • Cross trainer
  • Fitness bike

Strength machines: 

  • Dumbbells with bench
  • Multifunctional strength station
  • Multi lat pull down machine 
  • Chest machine

Are dogs allowed in the hotel?

Yes, dogs are also very welcome.

A dog is allowed in every room category, a cleaning fee of € 18 per day/ per pet will be charged.

Leashed, they may accompany you on the grounds and there is also a shaded area on the hotel beach to the far right, away from the pool and children's play area, where they can accompany you.

The pet is not allowed in the restaurant, on the restaurant terrace and in the wellness area. Walking your pet is only possible outside the hotel grounds.

Where can I charge my electric car?

Hotel guests who visit us with an electric car can conveniently and environmentally friendly charge their vehicle at the electric charging station in the hotel parking lot for a fee. The charging station is operated by VKV VLOTE and can be used via various apps.
